Ab-so-lutely NOT. With the monthly option, you pay every month. For the yearly – pay per year. No long term contracts, simple as that.
Great question. You’ll need a domain name (eg: yoursite.com) and web hosting with WordPress installed. Our new Concierge Service (included for free) can simplify the initial setup process and get all this set up and installed for you during your free trial. We’ll even upload one of our demo sites to your server to give you a huge head start on creating your new site. If you want to take advantage of the Concierge Service, simply sign up for your free trial and dive into the Guide (our tutorials). The first article will discuss how to submit your request to have us setup your hosting, install WordPress, etc.
Another great question! Authorcats is designed to work specifically with WordPress (the website architecture you install on your own site, NOT the free blogging site). If you don’t have a WordPress site right now, don’t worry! We can set all this up for you with our free Concierge Service, which will get you up and running with your new site as quickly and effortlessly as possible during your free trial.
Each license is good for one domain (e.g. yourcourse.com). We’ll give you a special 20% off coupon for each additional license that you need, just reach out to our support team when that time comes.
You do! You own all your stuff. Your videos, your PDFs, all your content… and your little dog too.
If you want to keep your existing site “live,” then we recommend setting up what’s called a “staging site” (or a “temporary site”). Our Concierge Service can handle this for you at no extra charge – all you have to do is ask. Once you sign up for your trial, you’ll be given a couple of options in the first article in our guide – choose the Concierge Service and we’ll get rolling from there.
In some cases, this is a super easy fix. In the back-end of WordPress, go to Settings > Permalinks > don’t change anything (weird, we know) > then simply save your settings. If this doesn’t fix the issue, please open a new support ticket and send us WordPress admin login info for your site so we can take a look.
Yes! By default, you’ll see a photo of our co-founder (designer & developer) Brad Hogan. If you’d like to swap out his mug shot with your own avatar, go to the Gravatar website, create a free account (make sure to use the same email address that you used for your Authorcats account), then upload a photo. You might also need to clear your browser cache to see this change.
Yes! Please jump over to the affiliates page to register as an affiliate. Once you do that, someone from our team will reach out to confirm your account and then you’ll be off to the races, as they say (meaning, you can start bragging about Authorcats and actually make some money for doing it!).
